Complexus Care is seeking compassionate and experienced Female Rehabilitation Assistants to join a dedicated team supporting a young female client living in the Hemel Hempstead area.
Our client has complex needs following an acquired brain injury. She is independently mobile but requires support with planning, initiating activities and maintaining her safety within the community. She experiences fatigue and benefits from encouragement and structured support throughout the day.
She is a typical teenage girl who enjoys "girly" interests. We are looking for someone who can build a positive, trusting relationship while promoting her independence and confidence.
As part of this role, you will be required to transport the client using your own vehicle. Therefore, a full, clean UK driving licence, access to your own vehicle and business insurance are essential requirements.
About the Role
You will provide person-centred support both at home and in the community, encouraging independence while ensuring the client's wellbeing and safety.
During term time, the client attends college Monday to Thursday for approximately four hours each day. Whilst she is attending college, you will remain on shift and use this time for planning activities, completing documentation and carrying out any agreed household tasks.
