Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Source Heat Pump Install/Service Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air source heat pump systems across various residential and commercial sites. Duties
- Install, commission, and test air source heat pump systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of existing heat pump units to ensure optimal performance.
- Repair and replace faulty components, including compressors, fans, valves, and electrical parts.
- Interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system layouts to facilitate accurate installation and servicing.
- Lead on-site projects, supervising junior team members where applicable to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with clients to explain system functions, maintenance procedures, and answer technical queries.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations during all phases of installation and maintenance work.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system diagnostics for each project.
Experience
- Proven experience in mechanical systems repair, air source Heat pumps.
- Strong knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals related to heat pump systems.
- Demonstrable leadership skills with experience supervising or mentoring team members on-site.
- Practical experience in equipment repair within the construction or maintenance sectors is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with the installation and servicing of air source heat pumps or similar renewable energy systems.
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations relevant to electrical work and building sites. Pay: £18.00-£22.50 per hour
