Network Power Connections Ltd (NPC) is a NERS-accredited Independent Connections Provider based in Worcester. We deliver HV/LV electrical infrastructure solutions across the UK. With just under 30 staff and on average 200 concurrent live projects, we operate at pace and expect the people around us to do the same.
The Role
We're looking for an Operations Manager to sit across our programme delivery function. This is a senior, hands-on role that requires genuine technical credibility alongside the operational and commercial capability to manage a complex, multi-project environment.
You'll work closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, and the wider leadership team to keep delivery on track, support technical governance, and drive operational improvement across the business.
What We Need
- A background as a jointer; you must have done the job, not just managed people who have
- Minimum 3 years in a Senior Project Manager role within an ICP or closely aligned HV/LV contractor environment
- Demonstrable experience managing multiple concurrent HV/LV infrastructure projects through to energisation
- Familiarity with DNO/IDNO coordination, NERS accreditation requirements, and ICP-specific compliance obligations
- The commercial awareness to identify risk, protect margin, and make decisions under pressure
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences
What You'll Be Doing
- Overseeing programme delivery across a portfolio of HV/LV infrastructure, substation installations, working in industrial/commercial sectors including high rise residential and EV charging projects
- Supporting and challenging Project Managers on programme, cost, and quality
- Acting as a technical point of reference for the delivery team on HV/LV works
- Contributing to operational governance, resource planning, and process improvement
- Representing NPC professionally with DNOs, IDNOs, clients, and subcontractors
