Experienced Landscaper / Gardener

About us
GraftinGardeners Ltd is a well established, family run company founded in 2009. We operate multiple full time tree surgery, landscaping and gardening teams across London and Surrey, working for private clients, housing associations, schools, managing agents, construction companies and local authorities.
We are looking for experienced and reliable landscapers/gardeners to join our team.
About the Role
This is a hands on outdoor role covering both hard and soft landscaping, and planting works.
You will work on a wide variety of residential and commercial projects across London and Surrey.
Key Responsibilities
- Hard landscaping including paving, fencing, decking, turfing and sleeper work
- Soft landscaping including planting, mulching, staking and irrigation
- Grounds maintenance including mowing, hedge cutting, pruning and weeding
- Operating hand tools, power tools and landscaping machinery safely
- Loading and unloading materials, tools and equipment
- Maintaining clean, safe and professional worksites
- Following company health and safety procedures at all times
- Working as part of a team and assisting team leaders where required
Requirements
- Previous experience in landscaping, gardening or grounds maintenance
- Experience operating landscaping machinery and equipment
- Full clean UK Manual driving licence preferred
- Right to work in the UK
- CSCS card preferred (or willingness to obtain one)
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather
- Able to reliably arrive at our Leatherhead yard for 06:30 starts
- Good attitude, reliable and hard working.
Desirable (but not essential) Qualifications
- First Aid at Work (+F)
- PA1 / PA6 pesticide qualifications
- Horticultural or landscaping qualifications (RHS, NVQ etc.)
- Trailer licence
- Experience leading small teams on site
