Maintenance Position
We currently have a position available in our childcare nursery in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire for a maintenance operative, duties include minor building maintenance including garden works, daily safety inspections and handling deliveries to the nursery. The successful candidate should be capable of undertaking minor building and equipment repairs, organising more significant repairs by external contractors and keeping records of all work done and inspections undertaken.
This is a part -time position requiring daily attendance, hours between 16-20 per week. Trade qualification preferred but not essential. Hourly rate dependant on qualification between £13.95 to £14.80 per hour.
The position requires an acceptable PVG Certificate (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) and satisfactory references.
