As an Occupational Therapist, you will:

Use a strengths-based conversation style to help people ascertain what a good life looks like to them

Set short-term goals and identify support to achieve those goals.

Develop tailored reablement programmes.

Provide information, guidance and advice to individuals, families, and colleagues.
-
Work alongside a team of reablement workers to coordinate care and support.
-
Mentor and support others in the team.

Have opportunity to contribute to team training, project work and service development.
To apply for this role, you will need:

A recognised Occupational Therapy qualification.

Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
-
Evidence of Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
-
Knowledge of community care services and relevant legislation, including the Care Act 2014.

Has a full driving licence and access to transport. Disabled employees who are unable to drive because of their disability will be able to use taxis to carry out their duties.
