Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in daily operational activities and decision-making processes
- Supervise and motivate team members to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service
- Assist with staff training, development, and performance evaluations
- Oversee merchandising standards, ensuring displays are attractive and aligned with brand guidelines
- Manage stock levels, organise inventories, and coordinate replenishment activities
- Handle customer enquiries with professionalism and courtesy, maintaining excellent phone etiquette
- Organise schedules to optimise staffing levels during peak hours and minimise downtime
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across the store or branch
- Contribute to sales management strategies to maximise revenue opportunities
- Maintain accurate administrative records related to sales, staffing, and stock control
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and organisational excellence
Experience
- Previous management or supervisory experience within retail or sales environments is essential
- Proven track record in team management, including motivating staff and overseeing daily operations
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly advantageous
- Experience in merchandising, sales management, or retail management is preferred
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to inspire confidence among team members
- Proficient organisational skills with attention to detail in administrative tasks
- Good time management skills to ensure efficient store operations
- Experience in handling customer relations with professionalism and tact
