Independent community practice in Salisbury (Wiltshire) looking for an experienced small animal vet (MRCVS),

We have grown rapidly and need support to keep serving the community.
Sheridan White Vets - an independent practice that opened earlier this year, that due to remarkable growth are looking to recruit an additional Vet and an additional RVN.
Our Practice:
Independent first opinion practice; with some exotic work mixed in (if you fancy it). Large case load - mixed medical and surgical cases. True clinical freedom, no targets we just aim to do the best clinical work we can.
Currently getting our paperwork in place for the RCVS PSS.
Lab: Full inhouse lab- Haematology (HM5), biochemistry (VetScan), Imagyst AI microscope (as well as standard light microscope), progesterone machine, and a huge array of inhouse ELISA tests.
Equipment: DR X-ray, Endoscopy, high quality ultrasound, Orthopaedic and Soft tissue surgical equipment, plus all the standards.
Layout: Two consulting rooms and separate quiet/euthanasia room, separate cat and dog waiting rooms., sterile theatre and an open plan prep room (styled on ICU units).
Supportive environment with a wonderful team of RVNs, ACAs and reception. Always a well-stocked sweet treat supply in the kitchen!
RCVS and VDS paid, CPD supported, staff pets treated at cost.
Salary £40-£75k DOE

Duties
- Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess health status and diagnose conditions accurately
- Perform surgical procedures ranging from routine spays and neuters to complex surgeries with precision and care
- Administer vaccinations, treatments, and medications as prescribed, ensuring optimal patient outcomes
- Communicate clearly with pet owners about diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive care strategies
- Maintain detailed medical records in compliance with veterinary standards and regulations
- Assist laboratory teams by collecting samples and interpreting laboratory results to support diagnoses
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure smooth clinic operations and exceptional patient care
