We are looking for a reliable and organised Bookkeeper to join our friendly business.
This is a varied, hands-on role combining bookkeeping, administration, and support to the directors. It's ideal for someone who enjoys working in a small business environment where they can take ownership of their work and contribute across multiple areas.

Key Responsibilities
Finance & Bookkeeping (Core Focus)
- Processing purchase and sales invoices
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Management reporting
- Monitoring income, expenditure, and cashflow
- Processing payroll
- Preparing and monitoring annual budget
- Liaising with customers and suppliers
- Liaising with external accountants
Administration
- Supporting general office administration and correspondence
Operations & Coordination
- Liaising with directors as required
About You
Essential:
- Proven bookkeeping experience (AAT or QBE)
- Good working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility
Comfortable working within a small business environment
Desirable
- Experience with Xero
- Experience of working with a small owner-manager business
- Experience of working in the construction industry
