The Role
You'll be working at the heart of our operation in our site in Mildenhall — picking and packing customer orders accurately and to a high standard, using our warehouse management system (WMS) on a handheld device to guide your work. The products you'll handle are small and lightweight, so this is a clean, organised environment where attention to detail and a consistent work ethic are what set the best operatives apart.
What you'll be doing
- Picking orders accurately using a handheld WMS device
- Packing products to a consistently high standard, following set guidelines
- Carrying out quality checks on your own work before orders leave your station
- Operating packaging machinery safely and effectively
- Loading, unloading and replenishing stock as required
- Keeping your work area clean, organised and compliant with health and safety standards
What we're looking for
- Some experience in a warehouse, logistics or fulfilment environment — a year or more is ideal, but we'll consider the right candidate with less
- Good attention to detail and a focus on getting it right first time
- Comfortable working at pace and maintaining accuracy under pressure
- Reliable, punctual and a team player
- Comfortable using handheld technology — full training on our systems provided
