Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Mobile Cleaning Operative to join our professional cleaning team. This role involves travelling to a variety of sites, including commercial premises and healthcare environments, delivering high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
The working hours will be based on a rota of 5 days out of 7 and therefore will include some weekend work and occasional night shifts, also with opportunities for overtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out cleaning duties across multiple sites, including healthcare settings
- General cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitising
- Follow strict cleaning protocols, particularly in healthcare environments
- Ensure all areas meet high hygiene and infection control standards
- Safe use of cleaning equipment and chemicals in line with COSHH and health & safety regulations
- Report any issues, damages, or maintenance concerns
- Maintain a professional and courteous manner at all times
- Undertake any other duties as reasonably required to support the business
Requirements
- Subject to enhanced DBS certificate
- Previous cleaning experience preferred (healthcare experience is an advantage)
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible
- Willingness to work across different environments
- Full UK driving licence (desirable)
- Pay rate assessed on experience
