A fantastic opportunity has arisen for Security Dog Handlers based in Slough.
You must be able to demonstrate and deliver high quality of guarding and customer service to both visitors and our client. You must be able to stand and patrol for long periods of time and have a flexible approach.
You are required to hold a SIA Licence.
Position Information:
- Job Title: Security Dog Handler
- Location: Slough
- Pay Rate: £16-£18 per hour
- Hours: 12 hour shifts
- Shifts: multiple options availble
Job Role/Requirements
- SIA Licence required
- Security and customer service experience is required
- Must have good command of English language
- Good levels of customer service, communication both written & verbal at all times
- Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.
- Valid driving Licence 2+ years
- Must be 25 + due to company vehicle policy
- All applicants must pass BS7858, So you must have a right to work in the UK, A 5 Year checkable work history and proof of identification
Canine Information:
- Full canine Training package (All training will be provided free of charge)
- Company dog provided if you you do not have your own NASDU Certified canine
- Company vehichle provided
- Vet care, dog food, holiday boarding and uniform & equipment provided - for company owned canines.
About You
- Security experience is compulsory
- Security Dog handler experience is compulsory
- Able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our clients and service users.
- Reliable, Responsible and Punctual
- Able to work in a team as well as on your own
- Be calm under pressure and confident in dealing with confrontational situations in a calm and professional manner
- Physically fit to complete patrols internally and externally and able to stand/walk for extended periods when asked
- Confident in writing incident and shift reports
- The ability to be pro-active and think on your feet use initiative
- To have a smart appearance befitting the company
- Be confident you are able to undertake 100% of all specific duties
