Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, corridors, restrooms, and communal spaces
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure surfaces are hygienic and presentable
- Follow specified cleaning schedules and protocols to maintain consistency across all sites
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are adhered to
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and hand soap as needed
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
- Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
- Assist with specialised cleaning tasks in healthcare settings, including hospital environments, if required
Skills
- Experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous
- Previous work in hospitality or healthcare environments is desirable but not essential
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills and reliability in completing assigned tasks efficiently
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices
