Static Electrical Engineer – £40,000 – Manchester
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Engineer to join a leading building services provider on a static commercial site in Manchester. This role is ideal for an electrically or mechanically qualified engineer looking for a stable Monday-to-Friday position with no call-out requirement and excellent employee benefits.
Package
- Salary: £40,000
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
- Location: Static site in Manchester
- On-Call: None
- Holiday: 31 days annual leave including bank holidays, increasing to 33 days after 5 years' service
- Sick Pay: SSP
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across mechanical and electrical building services systems
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs in a timely manner
- Ensure all plant and equipment operates safely and efficiently
- Complete maintenance records and compliance documentation accurately
- Support the smooth day-to-day operation of a commercial facility
- Work closely with site teams and contractors to maintain high service standards
Requirements / Qualifications
- Level 3 Electrical qualification, or Mechanical equivalent
- 18th Edition qualification
- Previous experience within a commercial building services environment
- Strong fault-finding and maintenance skills
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures
- Full UK driving licence beneficial
