House Coffee is a family run coffee shop based in the lovely & vibrant community of Coleham, just on the outskirts of Shrewsbury Town Centre priding ourselves in offering great coffee, cakes and brunch! We constantly work together with our team to maintain high levels of customer service and focus on providing the best experience possible.
Now in our 9th year of business we are looking to grow our team by adding a full-time chef with a passion for creating simple, fresh & well presented meals whilst maintaining high levels of cleanliness in our relatively small-sized kitchen. We are looking for a hardworking, driven individual with previous experience in a similar role.
Duties to include:
- Setting up & closing down the kitchen
- Preparing, cooking & presenting dishes in an efficient manner & to a consistently high standard
- Maintaining records relating to food production activities and supplier information as required for food health and safety
- Monitoring stock levels ensuring correct stock rotation and placing orders as necessary to limit food wastage
Desired skills for the role:
- Experience of working in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well both individually & as a team
- Be able to work under pressure & manage multiple orders
- Professional, presentable and with good time management and reliability
- Level 2 Food Hygiene
