We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as an Aluminium Kit Cutter.
In this role, you will be responsible for cutting aluminium extrusions into kits used in the manufacture of roofs for commercial vehicle bodies. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and is keen to learn new skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Cut aluminium extrusions accurately using an aluminium saw.
- Prepare and organise kits for the production team.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
- Drive a Combilift to move materials around the workshop (full training provided).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
- Work closely with colleagues to meet production schedules.
What We're Looking For
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Previous manufacturing or engineering experience is an advantage but not essential.
Training
Full training will be provided in all aspects of the role, including:
- Safe operation of the aluminium saw.
- Aluminium kit preparation.
- Combilift operation.
- Health and safety procedures.

Working Hours : Monday - Thursday 7.00am to 15.45pm Friday 7.00am - 14.45pm
We are based in Morley, Leeds.
National Minimum Wage Rates (Effective 1 April 2026) [1]
- National Living Wage (21+): £12.71
- 18–20 Year Old Rate: £10.85
- 16–17 Year Old Rate: £8.00
- Apprentice Rate: £8.00
