Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff and baristas
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and provide exceptional customer service to enhance guest satisfaction
- Support food safety protocols by following proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic plating and garnishing to ensure timely service
- Upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities while enhancing the guest experience
- Manage cash register transactions accurately and handle payments efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, bar, and service stations throughout your shift
- Collaborate with team members
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred
- Knowledge of serving techniques, food safety standards, and basic food preparation skills
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a lively environment
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Familiarity with upselling techniques to enhance guest experience and sales performance
- Barista experience would be amazing but not essential
- Baking experience a plus but not essential
