Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, mixing and serving drinks, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Greet guests warmly, take orders efficiently, and deliver drinks promptly to ensure a positive guest experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Manage cash transactions accurately using the POS system, including handling payments and issuing receipts.
- Monitor guest behaviour to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with licensing laws.
- Restock bar supplies as needed, including alcohol, mixers, glassware, and garnishes.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
Experience
- Proven experience working as a bartender or in a similar hospitality role is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety standards relevant to the hospitality industry.
- Strong serving skills with an ability to engage with diverse clientele.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy shifts.
- Previous restaurant experience is advantageous but not essential; enthusiasm for learning is equally valued.
