Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our childcare team In our Toddler room.The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of children aged from birth to five years. The role involves working closely with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a safe, engaging, and educational setting.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote children's development across all areas including social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills
- Support children in their daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and play activities
- Observe and record children's progress, sharing insights with parents and team members
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging independence and confidence
- Collaborate with colleagues to organise activities, outings, and special events
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns
- Support management in implementing policies related to childcare standards and early childhood education programmes
- Assist in managing the nursery’s daily operations as required
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood setting is highly desirable
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development stages
- Management or leadership experience within childcare settings is advantageous
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Experience in managing or supervising staff or volunteers is beneficial
- Level 3 qualified
- Toddler room experience

Pay: £12.90-£13.40 per hour
