Job Summary
We are seeking a confident, friendly, motivated, dynamic Viewing Assistant to join our team and support our property viewing operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has an interest in property and wants to develop valuable experience in estate agency, customer services and sales.
You will be representing Newton Fallowell when meeting prospective buyers at our properties, making you an important part of the customer experience and the sales process.
The ideal person will be able to make customers feel welcome, confidently present a property, identify genuine interest and help turn viewings into offers.
Responsibilities
Property Viewings:
- Conduct professional and welcoming property viewings.
- Open and close properties safely and securely.
- Meet and build rapport with prospective buyers.
- Show customers around the property and highlight its key features and benefits.
- Provide brochures and relevant property information.
- Answer questions professionally and obtain further information from the office where necessary.
- Identify genuine buying interest and encourage customers towards the next steps.
- Ask appropriate questions to understand the customer's requirements.
- Collect and communicate useful viewing feedback to the office.
- Communicate any potential offers or serious interest promptly.
- Report any maintenance, presentation or security issues noticed at a property.
- Ensure properties are left secure and presentable after each viewing.
Office Support:
Two Saturdays each month will include office-based duties for part of the shift.
Duties may include:
- Opening the office and preparing it for the day.
- Answering and directing telephone calls.
- Checking and responding to appropriate emails.
- Checking voicemails and dealing with enquiries appropriately.
- Booking, rearranging and confirming property viewings.
- Updating viewing records.
- Assisting with general office administration.
- Supporting the wider team during busy periods.
- Carrying out other reasonable administrative duties as required.

Working Hours:
20 hours per week, normally worked across:
Thursday / Friday / Saturday
Two Saturdays per month will involve a combination of both office-based administration and property viewings.
Additional hours/overtime may be available depending on business requirements and will be agreed in advance.
Professional workwear and appearance:
As you will be representing Newton Fallowell and meeting customers in person, a smart, professional appearance is essential.
Employees are expected to:
- Wear smart and professional workwear.
- Be clean, tidy and well presented.
- Dress appropriately for meeting customers and entering clients' homes.
- Maintain a polished and professional appearance when conducting viewings and working in the office.
- Represent the Newton Fallowell brand in a positive and professional manner.
Experience:
Previous estate agency experience would be advantageous, but is not essential.
