Hours: 4 to 5 day working week available (must be available to work weekends, including a Sunday and school holidays)
We are seeking a reliable and detail orientated housekeeper to join our team.
Working in a high performing and fast paced environment, our housekeeping team deliver exceptional cleaning standards across all bedrooms and customer areas.
What will I be doing as a Housekeeping Assistant?
- The role requires a welcoming personality, professional guest manner and a clean and pleasant appearance. An eye for detail is also important for this role.
- From trolleys, mops, vacuums, brushes and commercial cleaning equipment – you’ll use them all with the correct care and attention within safe operating procedures.
- Cleaning public areas of the hotel each morning.
- You’ll be servicing rooms for new arrivals and staying guests which means emptying bins, cleaning bathrooms, following the correct laundry procedures such as making beds, changing linen, hanging towels, dusting etc. and all to a high standard.
- Communication is key both between housekeeping and other departments, from last minute changes to early arrivals.
- Reporting maintenance issues, from as a broken TV remote to a faulty light fixture, your awareness will help speed up any repairs and reduce guest dissatisfaction.
- Adhere to health and safety and fire protocols. These are there to protect you and the guests.
