Job Overview

Responsibilities

- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs to optimise profitability
- Develop menus in collaboration with culinary staff, ensuring variety and quality
- Train new team members and provide ongoing professional development for existing staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen environment
- Monitor food quality during preparation and service to meet company standards
- Ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining high customer satisfaction levels
- Implement efficient workflow processes to maximise productivity during peak hours
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food production, cooking, serving, or food preparation within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Previous management or supervising experience in a culinary environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Extensive knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including inventory management and cost control
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
- Experience in culinary arts or hospitality industry credentials are highly desirable
