About the Role:
Edinburgh is a thriving center for healthcare, life sciences, and professional services, and at DVM Central Digital Solutions, we apply that same standard to building strong commercial relationships across the veterinary industry. We connect veterinary professionals, practices, suppliers, and trusted brands through digital solutions designed to make purchasing and business partnerships more efficient. We are looking for a Director of Corporate Partnerships (m/f/d) who can take ownership of our strategic partnership development. You will build and strengthen relationships with veterinary organizations, suppliers, manufacturers, and commercial partners while identifying opportunities that support sustainable business growth. You will be the advocate for strong commercial relationships across a growing network of industry stakeholders.
Why Work With Us?
The Environment: Our Edinburgh office is located within a professional business district with convenient access to the city centre, transport links, restaurants, and professional services. We value a collaborative workspace where experienced professionals can take ownership of meaningful projects and build lasting relationships.
Industry Impact: You will work at the intersection of veterinary services, healthcare commerce, and digital solutions. Your partnerships will help strengthen connections between veterinary professionals and the organizations that support their practices.
Strategic Influence: Corporate partnerships play an important role in our continued growth. You will have a meaningful role in developing partnership priorities, identifying commercial opportunities, and establishing relationships with organizations across the veterinary sector.
Professional Growth: We support continuous professional development through industry events, networking opportunities, professional training, and exposure to strategic commercial initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Corporate Partnership Strategy: Develop and execute partnership strategies that support commercial growth, customer engagement, and long term business objectives.
Relationship Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with veterinary organizations, suppliers, manufacturers, professional groups, and strategic commercial partners.
New Business Development: Identify and evaluate potential partnership opportunities across the UK veterinary and healthcare marketplace. Develop partnership proposals that create clear value for both DVM Central Digital Solutions and prospective partners.
Commercial Negotiation: Lead partnership discussions, commercial proposals, negotiations, and renewal conversations while ensuring agreements support sustainable business objectives.
Cross Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, operations, customer experience, and technology teams to ensure partnership initiatives are delivered effectively.
Performance Management: Establish partnership objectives and monitor commercial performance, engagement, revenue contribution, and relationship development. Use market information and performance data to identify opportunities for improvement.
Stakeholder Management: Present partnership strategies, commercial recommendations, and performance updates to internal leadership and external stakeholders in a clear and commercially focused manner.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience: 7+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, commercial strategy, account management, or a related field, with demonstrated experience managing significant business relationships.
Partnership Experience: Proven ability to develop strategic partnerships and negotiate commercial agreements with established organizations, suppliers, professional networks, or B2B clients.
Industry Knowledge: Experience within veterinary services, healthcare, medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, ecommerce, professional services, digital solutions, or another relevant B2B environment is highly desirable.
Commercial Mindset: You understand how to identify commercially valuable opportunities, develop compelling partnership propositions, and convert relationships into measurable business outcomes.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to conduct senior stakeholder meetings, commercial presentations, negotiations, and partnership reviews.
Leadership Approach: You are comfortable influencing teams and mentoring colleagues without relying on a large management structure. You lead through expertise, collaboration, accountability, and strong commercial judgment.
Mindset: You are strategic but practical. You know when to pursue a major partnership opportunity and when to focus on strengthening existing relationships. You are commercially driven, relationship focused, and committed to building partnerships that deliver genuine value for customers and the business.
