Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Bar Team Members. This role involves providing exceptional service to our customers in a lively and welcoming environment. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar environment is advantageous, but full training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Serve drinks and beverages to customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
- Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations
- Assist with stock replenishment and inventory management
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system
- Engage with customers to create a friendly atmosphere and promote ongoing patronage
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow
Skills
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and bills
- Strong time management abilities to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Good organisational skills to keep the bar area tidy and well-stocked
- Ability to work well within a team as well as independently when required
- Flexibility to adapt to changing customer needs and operational requirements
