Security Officer – Static Gatehouse
Location: Plymouth City Centre
Pay Rate: £12.75 per hour
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off
Hours: 18:00–06:00
We are looking for a reliable and professional Security Officer to work within a static gatehouse environment in Plymouth City Centre.
Main duties:
- Controlling access to and from the site
- Checking staff, visitors and contractors
- Monitoring vehicle movements and maintaining accurate records
- Conducting regular site patrols
- Monitoring CCTV and alarm systems where required
- Completing daily occurrence books and incident reports
- Responding appropriately to incidents and emergencies
- Providing a professional and helpful point of contact
- Reporting any concerns to the Support Desk
Requirements:
- Valid SIA licence
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Able to work independently throughout the night
- Good attention to detail and record-keeping skills
- Previous gatehouse or static security experience is desirable
This is a regular 4 on, 4 off night-shift position offering consistent hours in a static gatehouse environment.
Pay: £12.75 per hour
