Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cook to join our team at The Willows. Located in <LOCATION>, this role is vital in preparing nutritious and delicious meals that meet the dietary needs of our elderly residents, supporting our mission to deliver exceptional dementia care.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook daily meals for residents, ensuring nutritional value and dietary restrictions are met.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in the kitchen.
- Collaborate with management and care staff to plan meal that cater to residents' preferences and health requirements.
- Manage kitchen inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Ensure all food is stored and handled according to safety regulations.
- Assist with meal service when required, providing friendly and respectful interaction with residents.
- Keep the kitchen clean and organized at all times.
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
