Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Operate spray guns, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively to apply paints and coatings evenly
- Mix paints, stains, and primers according to specifications to achieve desired colors and finishes
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials, equipment, and supplies to support project needs
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of waste properly, and ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Inspect finished work for quality assurance, making touch-ups as necessary to meet standards
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines efficiently
Experience
- Proven experience as a Paint Sprayer or in a similar role within construction, manufacturing, or automotive industries
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to spray equipment, hand tools, and power tools
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods during preparation and application processes
- Familiarity with surface preparation techniques and coating materials
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on achieving high-quality finishes
- Prior experience working with various coatings, primers, stains, or paints is preferred but not required
