Fire Alarm Engineer

Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to join an established and growing Fire & Security business.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically capable engineer with strong experience across both installation and servicing of commercial fire alarm systems. The successful candidate will be confident working independently, fault-finding on live systems and delivering a high-quality service to clients.
Experience with Gent and Notifier systems is essential, alongside relevant FIA training or qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service, maintain and repair fire alarm systems across commercial sites
- Diagnose faults and carry out remedial works efficiently
- Complete planned preventative maintenance and emergency call-out work
- Test systems and ensure work is completed in line with BS 5839 and relevant regulations
- Work with Gent and Notifier systems, alongside other leading fire alarm brands
- Complete accurate service reports, certificates and job documentation
- Build professional relationships with clients and provide excellent customer service
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer, Fire & Security Engineer or similar
- Strong installation and servicing experience on fire alarm systems
- Previous hands-on experience with Gent and Notifier systems
- FIA qualifications or relevant FIA training
- Confident fault-finding, testing and maintaining life-safety systems
- Knowledge of BS 5839 standards
- Full UK driving licence
