Part-Time Cider Tour Guide
Dunkertons Cider | Cheltenham | Part-Time
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, confident and engaging Part-Time Tour Guide to join the team at Dunkertons Cider.
This is a customer-facing role for someone who loves meeting people, telling a great story and creating memorable experiences.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for delivering some of our most popular visitor experiences, including:
- Our Cider Tour & Cheese Pairing Experience
- Cider-Making Masterclasses
- Sharing the history and story of Dunkertons Cider
- Introducing guests to our organic cider-making process
- Guiding tastings and answering questions
- Creating a fun, informative and memorable experience for every guest
Weekend availability is essential. The role will primarily involve covering designated Saturdays and Sundays alongside our existing tour schedule.
About Dunkertons
Dunkertons was established in Herefordshire in 1980 and has over 45 years of cider-making history. Today, we’re based just outside Cheltenham and remain one of the few Soil Association-certified organic cider makers in the UK.
There’s a lot to our story, and we’re looking for someone who can bring it to life.
Who We’re Looking For
You don’t need to be a cider expert. We can teach you that.
What’s more important is that you’re:
- Warm, friendly and naturally engaging
- Confident speaking in front of groups
- Comfortable leading and interacting with a wide range of guests
- Enthusiastic and able to hold an audience’s attention
- Passionate about delivering excellent customer service
- Reliable and comfortable working independently
- Genuinely interested in learning about cider, its production and our history
Previous experience in tour guiding, hospitality, events, public speaking, teaching or other customer-facing roles would be advantageous, but isn’t essential.
Full training on Dunkertons, our cider-making process and the experiences themselves will be provided.
