We are looking for an organised, friendly and motivated Office Administrator to join our small office team at Bell View Help at Home. We are a ever growing Domiciliary Care company based in North Northumberland. This role will play a key part to support the day to day running of our office so we can continue to provide a high-quality service to people in their own homes.
This can be a fast-paced environment at times and you must be passionate about your work.
As part of the office team you must be willing to take part in domiciliary care when staff shortages occur.
Key responsibilities.
· Provide administrative support to our office team
· Answer telephone calls and ensure these are documented and actioned
· Creating files for new staff and maintaining staff records
· Order office supplies and keep stock checks
· Process invoices, expenses and basic bookkeeping tasks
· Calculating staff mileage and travel time weekly
· Laise with clients, care staff and external professionals
· Schedule appointments, meetings and organise travel arrangements
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Good numerical and word processing skills
Experience of Word and Excel
Good communication and organisational skills
Friendly, confident, well-presented and customer-focussed
Professional telephone manner
Genuine interest in working within a caring environment
An appreciation of need for confidentiality
Previous admin experience
Desirable:
Experience working in the care industry
