Fussell Wadman are looking for an additional experienced Vehicle Technician to join our busy, successful aftersales team at our modern Peugeot & Isuzu dealership here in Devizes.
We are offering a starting salary of £34,000 + Bonus. “Negotiable” depending on skills and experience. This is based on a 40-hour week working Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm. There is opportunity to enhance your overall package with a generous bonus scheme, plus overtime and an enhanced Saturday morning package.
Your role as a Vehicle Technician is crucial in delivering an exceptional customer experience, built on trust and honesty. We are expanding our team and currently seeking skilled individuals who take pride in their work. You will be responsible for Diagnosing vehicle faults, maintaining, servicing, and repairing vehicles to the highest standards. Your expertise across all aspects of the job will be essential, from straightforward servicing to complex repairs. Quality workmanship and achieving first-time fixes are core values that guide everything we do.
The key responsibilities for this Vehicle technician will include.
Diagnose faults and carry out testing of vehicles.
. service and repair vehicles of all makes & models.
. Carry out pre-delivery inspection to new & used vehicles to manufacturers standards.
. To carry out work effectively and within manufacturers times.
. To accurately record all details on job cards and VHC system including Video VHC.
. Ensure all work is carried out to a high standard and in line with company guidelines.
. Work within Health & Safety guidelines.
. To maintain the highest levels of customer service always.
. To maintain and update your individual experience, skills, and knowledge through manufacturer training.
. Whilst being a MOT tester isn’t a pre-requisite; it would be an advantage as would having previously worked at a Main dealer.
A Full UK driving licence or equivalent is essential.
