Duties
- Prepare roofing surfaces by cleaning, repairing, and ensuring proper substrate conditions for liquid plastic application
- Apply liquid plastics using specialized tools and techniques to create seamless, waterproof roofing membranes
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and install roofing components accurately
- Follow schematics and technical drawings to ensure precise installation according to project specifications
- Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of materials safely to support efficient project progress
- Perform welding or plumbing tasks when necessary for integrated roofing systems or drainage solutions
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and ensure quality standards are met throughout each project
Requirements
- Proven construction experience with a focus on roofing or waterproofing systems
- Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, and fabrication processes
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction machinery
- Knowledge of roofing techniques, including liquid plastics application and membrane installation
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods
- Basic understanding of plumbing, masonry, carpentry, or masonry work is advantageous
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and quality workmanship
- Previous experience working with construction site teams is preferred
