We're looking for enthusiastic, hardworking bartenders to join our team at Red Lion!
As a bartender, you'll be the face of the venue, creating a welcoming atmosphere and
delivering exceptional service from the moment our guests arrive. If you enjoy working in a
fast-paced environment, love hospitality, and take pride in providing a great guest
experience, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver outstanding customer service by welcoming guests, taking orders, preparing
drinks, and ensuring every guest has a great experience.
- Learn and confidently serve our full drinks menu, including cocktails, classics, beers,
wines, and spirits through our comprehensive training programme.
- Prepare drinks quickly and consistently while maintaining excellent presentation and
quality.
- Assist with changing kegs and maintaining high cellar standards. An interest in cask
ale and draught products is a bonus.
- Complete opening and closing procedures, ensuring both front and back of house
are clean, organised, and ready for service.
- Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, stock rotation, and health & safety
throughout every shift.
- Work closely with the rest of the team to deliver smooth, efficient service during busy
periods.
What We're Looking For
- A positive attitude and genuine passion for hospitality.
- Previous experience in a busy bar or hospitality environment is preferred but not
essential.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability, flexibility, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A willingness to learn and develop through our training programme.
