Shift patterns:
48 hours per week, Monday - Friday Day Shift (around 6am start time).
Includes an average of one night out per week and 1-2 night shifts per month, depending on operational requirements.

Looking for your next driving role with a leading logistics operation? We're seeking a Class 2 Driver to support the delivery of essential rail infrastructure products to engineering sites.
With a mix of driving, customer interaction, and specialist HIAB work (training provided), this is an excellent opportunity to join a professional and supportive team, playing a key role in delivering vital products that help keep the UK's rail network moving.
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle and vehicle-mounted crane (HIAB) to deliver rail infrastructure products, including sleepers and bagged ballast, to engineering sites

Carry out daily vehicle inspections and safety checks, ensuring full compliance with Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive regulations, and company health and safety standards

Load, secure and transport products safely, including strapping and securing loads in line with company procedures and road transport regulations (full training provided)

Complete customer collections and deliveries efficiently, typically undertaking one collection and one delivery per day while maintaining excellent service standards

Undertake manual handling activities as required, ensuring safe movement of products and adherence to all site-specific safety requirements and The Highway Code
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

Hold a valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence, Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card

Ideally have 6 months recent Class 2 driving experience

HIAB experience and/or a HIAB licence would be beneficial, but full training can be provided for candidates who are keen to develop this skill

Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, compliance and delivering excellent customer service at all times

Be flexible to meet operational requirements, including day shifts, occasional night shifts (typically 1-2 per month), and an average of one night out per week
