Working with key internal and external stakeholders you’ll collate, analysis and interpret data to support our decision making, leading to the design and implementation of future maintenance delivery arrangements.
You’ll analyse our capability to understand our position in the marketplace, producing documentation aligned to the design and implementation of future maintenance delivery arrangements and lead works to establish/enhance its capabilities.
What you’ll do
- Horizon scanning and analysing data looking for opportunities and efficiencies both internally and externally
- Aligning process and procedure to changes in legislation and policy or service reviews
- Planning and leading readiness activities related to repairs and maintenance change
- Collaborating with colleagues and contractors to identify opportunities to improve the maintenance service, then turn that into a plan that the business of improvement
- Working with our procurement team during contractor tender process of new contractors to ensure we achieve value for money and onboarding them to align to Home Group values and behaviours to deliver a reliable repairs service to our customers.
- Travelling within our regions to ensuring our colleagues and contractors are ready for planned change

You have
- Educated to degree level or relevant experience
- Strong complex data analytical skills, with compelling data presentation
- Experience of the tender process and onboarding of contractors within the housing sector
- Experience with insourcing repairs teams and rolling out change
- Ability to look for efficiencies in process and procedures
- Be a self-starter
- Be a team player and be willing to take on tasks not necessarily in your comfort zone
- Ability to work under pressure to ensure change is delivered on time to sometimes challenging deadlines

The practical bits
- Flexible working hours, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- This is a hybrid role, and you’ll spend a couple of days a week at our office at Newcastle and the rest working at home.
- There will be some occasional travel
