Duties
- Carry out thorough cleaning of clients' homes, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, and hallways.
- Vacuum carpets and rugs, sweep and mop floors, dust furniture, and polish surfaces.
- Clean and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens, sinks, worktops, appliances, and other high-touch areas.
- Make beds, change bed linen, and assist with light laundry or ironing where required.
- Empty household bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Restock household cleaning supplies when requested and notify clients of any supplies that need replenishing.
- Follow individual client preferences and cleaning schedules to ensure a consistently high standard of service.
- Report any maintenance issues, damage, or safety concerns to the client or management promptly.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and use all cleaning products safely and responsibly.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines while respecting clients' privacy, property, and confidentiality at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in domestic cleaning or housekeeping is preferred but not essential, as training may be provided.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality cleaning standards.
- Friendly, trustworthy, and respectful with a professional attitude.
- Physical fitness to carry out cleaning duties, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation or the ability to travel to clients' homes.
- Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and household cleaning products is an advantage.
- Must have a driving licence and own car.
