Team Leader – Health & Social Care
Lion Care Services is looking for an experienced and motivated Team Leader to join our team. This role offers a clear pathway into a Manager position for the right candidate. We are looking for a compassionate, resilient and motivated individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care and supporting individuals to achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate and support a team of care staff.
- Provide supervision and coaching, identify training needs and support staff development.
- Support care planning, reviews and risk assessments.
- Support safe medication administration and management in line with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor the well-being of the people we support and escalate concerns appropriately.
- Support safeguarding and maintain high standards of care, quality and compliance.
- Liaise with families, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
- Ensure care records, support plans and documentation are accurate and up to date.
- Participate in on-call duties as required.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a care/support environment.
- Previous experience as a Senior, Team Leader or similar supervisory role.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to motivate, coach and develop a team.
- Level 5 qualification is essential.
- Full UK driving licence.
Career Progression:
This role is ideal for an experienced Team Leader or Senior Support Worker looking to progress into management. You will work closely with the Service Manager, developing your leadership and management experience with a clear pathway to progress into a Manager position.
