Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Room manager Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant childcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for early childhood education and have proven experience working with young children in a nursery setting. Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering age-appropriate activities that promote children’s development across all areas, including social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills.
- Supervising children at all times to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Maintaining accurate records of children's progress and daily activities.
- Collaborating with colleagues and parents to support individualised care plans.
- Managing daily routines such as meal times, naps, and outdoor play sessions.
- Leading by example in promoting positive behaviour and good manners among children.
- Organising and participating in nursery events, outings, and developmental assessments.
- Supporting new staff members through mentorship and leadership roles as required.
- Ensuring compliance with nursery policies, health & safety regulations, and safeguarding procedures.
Qualifications
- recognised childcare qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent).
- Proven experience working within a nursery or early childhood education environment.
- Strong management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Experience working directly with children across different age groups.
- Knowledge of current childcare legislation, safeguarding procedures, and best practices.

Pay: £30,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
