We are looking for an experienced warehouse person to join a small team, jointly responsible for ensuring that all functions and tasks within the warehouse are completed correctly, safely and in a timely manner. From picking/packing and booking UK couriers, to stock control, preparation of export shipments (picking/packing/pallet wrapping), to ensuring tidiness and order in the warehouse; this is a physically demanding role. You must be self-motivated and a team player.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming goods in designated areas.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Load and unload shipments onto trucks or other transportation vehicles.
- Confidently and safely operate warehouse equipment, i.e. Flexi forklift and pallet trucks.
- Complete all necessary computer transactions to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment.
- Ensure equipment is checked, maintained and stored correctly.
Qualifications:
- At least three years previous experience working in a warehouse is essential.
- Forklift Truck cert is compulsory (Flexi Truck would be ideal).
- Ability to lift medium to heavy boxes, safely and correctly.
- Computer literacy is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

The ideal candidate will be a hardworking, enthusiastic, with a can-do attitude. You must be able to work well under pressure, in a constantly moving environment with the ability to work on your own initiative, achieve regular/routine tasks accurately and on time and be able to respond quickly and effectively to changing priorities and schedules. Physical fitness is essential as the position commands a high volume of manual handling/lifting/moving activities.
The successful applicant must also possess a good level of IT skills in order to understand, operate and maintain the Company stock records and be able to professionally and effectively communicate with people at all levels both verbally and in written form.
Full clean driving licence is essential.

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
