W.H. Gayton & Sons Ltd is a long-established family wholesale bakery looking for a hardworking individual to join our night production team.
This is a physically demanding role in a fast-paced bakery environment. We are not necessarily looking for someone with bakery experience. We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, eager to learn, and willing to get stuck in.
The successful candidate will work as part of our night team, assisting with the production and preparation of bakery products for delivery to our customers each morning.
Duties Include:
Assisting bakers with daily production
Preparing ingredients and bakery products
Loading and unloading trays and equipment
Lifting and moving products throughout the bakery
Operating bakery machinery following training
Packing and preparing orders
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
General labouring and production duties as required
Requirements:
Excellent work ethic
Physically fit and able to carry out manual work
Reliable and punctual
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to work as part of a team
Comfortable working night shifts
Previous bakery or food production experience is beneficial but not essential
