Overview
We are seeking a Cleaner for a site in the Belfast Harbour Estate to maintain a pristine, welcoming environment for staff and visitors. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a clean and safe space, ensuring high standards of hygiene and presentation are consistently met.
Hours - Monday - Friday, 09:00am - 15:00pm
Pay Rate - £14.00 Per Hour
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas, following established protocols.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently to ensure effective sanitation.
- Maintain cleanliness standards by regularly restocking supplies such as paper towels, soap, and other consumables.
- Follow safety guidelines and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for swift resolution.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Complete cleaning checklists and documentation accurately to track completed tasks.
Experience
- Prior janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques specific to commercial environments enhances efficiency.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability are essential qualities for success in this role.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and stand for extended periods is required.
