Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to oversee operations at our Subway restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily activities, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety, and leading a team to deliver excellent customer service.
Duties
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies
- Lead and motivate team members to deliver exceptional service and maintain high standards of food quality
- Oversee food preparation ensuring compliance with food safety
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen in accordance with health standards
- Maintain stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory efficiently
- Train new staff members on operational procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards
- Uphold the brand image of Subway through professional conduct and presentation
Requirements
- Supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations
- Experience in food production is highly desirable
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead by example
- Good understanding of hospitality principles including serving, customer care, and cleanliness standards
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive working environment
- Organised with excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism
