We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Private Client Solicitor specialising in Wills and Estates to join our busy and dynamic legal team. Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and execute wills tailored to clients’ specific needs and circumstances
- Advise clients on estate planning strategies, including trusts, powers of attorney, and tax implications
- Manage the administration of estates, including probate applications and estate settlement procedures
- Negotiate terms of estate documents with beneficiaries, executors, and other stakeholders to ensure clarity and fairness
- Provide clear guidance on legal requirements for estate transfer and succession laws
- Maintain meticulous records of client interactions, legal documents, and case progress
- Stay informed about updates in estate law to ensure compliance and best practices in all client matters
Experience
- Proven experience as a Private Client Solicitor or in a similar role focusing on Wills and Estates
- Strong negotiation skills to effectively advocate for clients’ interests during estate planning and settlement processes
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex legal concepts clearly to clients from diverse backgrounds
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail
- Knowledge of current legislation related to wills, trusts, probate, and estate administration
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual caseloads effectively
Pay: From £38,000.00 per year
