FCJ Primary School is seeking a full-time Class Teacher for a 1-year temporary contract (Parental Leave Cover) starting September 2026.
The successful candidate will plan, develop, and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons aligned with the Jersey National Curriculum. You will manage pupil learning, maintain a safe classroom environment with high behavioural expectations, and ensure equal opportunity for all.
Key duties:
- Assess, record, and report on pupil progress to parents/carers.
- Utilize PPA time effectively for lesson planning and target setting.
- Direct support staff to maximize effectiveness.
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
- Engage in continuous professional development.
