Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Painter and Decorator to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes using brushes, rollers, sprayers, or other tools with precision and care
- Follow project specifications and safety guidelines diligently to complete work efficiently and safely
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and supervisors to clarify project requirements and update progress regularly
- Manage transportation of tools and materials to various job sites using a reliable vehicle with a valid driver’s license
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste responsibly after each project
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make necessary touch-ups or corrections as needed
Skills
- Proven experience in construction painting and decorating with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- Excellent communication skills in English to understand instructions clearly and collaborate effectively with team members and clients
- Valid driving license to facilitate transportation between multiple job sites efficiently
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures related to painting, decorating, and construction environments
- Ability to interpret project plans, specifications, and technical instructions accurately
- Good physical stamina for standing, climbing ladders, lifting materials, and working in various environments for extended periods
- Reliable work ethic with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality finishes
