The Role
We’re working with a law firm in Tunbridge Wells looking for an experienced Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join its Residential Property department.
You’ll provide day-to-day support to fee earners, playing an important part in keeping transactions moving and ensuring clients receive a professional and responsive service.
Your will include:
- Preparing and formatting legal documents and correspondence
- Opening, closing and maintaining conveyancing files
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, solicitors and other third parties
- Managing diaries, appointments and key dates
- Assisting with searches and Land Registry documentation
- Preparing completion documentation
- Supporting with billing and general file administration
- Keeping clients updated on the progress of their transaction
We’d particularly like to hear from candidates with previous conveyancing or residential property experience, whether as a Legal Secretary, Legal Assistant or in a similar support position.
You’ll need to be organised, accurate and comfortable dealing with clients, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy property department.
