Moving Matters FC is an ambitious grassroots football club based in the Tulse Hill and
Norwood area, dedicated to providing young players with a positive, inclusive and
development-focused football experience.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for passionate, enthusiastic coaches to lead our U8
and U9 teams for the upcoming season.
We are seeking coaches who believe in long-term player development, enjoy working with
children, and want to be part of a club that supports both its players and coaching staff.

THE ROLES
We are currently recruiting for:
U8 Team Coach
● Foundation Phase Football
● 5v5 Format
U9 Team Coach
● Foundation Phase Football
● 7v7 Format
Your responsibilities will include:
● Delivering engaging and age-appropriate training sessions
● Managing your team on matchdays
● Supporting player development in line with club philosophy
● Communicating effectively with parents and guardians
● Creating a positive, safe and enjoyable learning environment
● Working alongside fellow coaches and club staff

Coaching rate for training sessions is dependent on qualifications and experience.

Match Fee - £30 per match
Weekend fixtures throughout the season.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
The ideal candidate will:
● Have experience coaching children within grassroots football.
● Hold a minimum FA Introduction to Coaching Football qualification.
● Have an Enhanced DBS certificate (or be willing to obtain one).
● Be reliable, organised and professional.
● Have excellent communication skills.
● Be enthusiastic and energetic when working with young players.
● Put player development and enjoyment first.
● Be committed for the duration of the season.
Desirable
● UEFA C Licence (or working towards it).
● Previous experience managing a youth football team.
● Emergency First Aid qualification.
● Driving licence and access to a vehicle.
WHAT YOUR WEEK COULD LOOK LIKE
● One team training session
