LOCATION: Salisbury House Residential Home, 83-85, Egerton Park, Rock Ferry, Birkenhead, CH42 4RD
JOB TITLE: Health Care Assistant - Days
SALARY: £13.45 per hour
THE COMPANY: We are a family-run home with 36 bedded residential + EMI residential home, who work together to provide all our residents with outstanding and personalised care.
THE ROLE: As a Care Assistant you will support residents to live the best life possible through the provision of high quality safe care that meets every individual’s personal and social needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to start or develop a career within Health and Social care as for the right candidate full extensive training opportunities will be provided by the employer.
THE CANDIDATE: We are looking for a Health Care Assistant to join our team. The candidate should be fully flexible to work across our shift times which are:
7am - 10.00am - 3 hour shift
7am - 12pm - 5 hour shift
12pm - 4pm - 4 hour shift
4pm - 8pm - 4 hour shift
These include Monday - Sunday and the successful candidate will be placed into a rota with our current staff. Weekend work will be required within this role.
We are looking to recruit somebody to work either 16 or 24 hours per week.
The successful candidate will ideally have previous people with dementia. Although this is not essential as full free training will be provided for committed candidates with the right empathetic and caring mind set.
It is essential you are a naturally caring and compassionate person who is confident and enjoys working with others.
Candidates must also live within or be able to easily commute to Rock Ferry.
Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the Care Assistant's role:-
Must be willing to complete essential training, both online and in house.
Must have the right caring mind set and be passionate about helping people.
