Sales Associate – Rugs & Sofas
We are looking for a motivated, customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. This is a varied role combining retail sales, customer service, store upkeep, and marketing support — ideal for someone who enjoys taking initiative and wearing multiple hats.
Key Responsibilities
- Open the store each morning by vacuuming, mopping, and maintaining general tidiness throughout the day
- Engage with customers and guide them through our range of rugs and sofas; full product training and support provided
- Support social media efforts during quieter periods, including creating photo and video content and engaging with local businesses online
- Assist with stock management and data entry tasks as assigned
- Independently manage the store when required
- Complete deliveries or collections of rugs (mileage/petrol compensated) if you hold a valid driver's licence
- Contribute ideas to improve the business, and take initiative on smaller improvements where appropriate
Working Pattern
Saturdays are typically supervised directly by the store owner, Hamid with other days also being avaliable during the week if you want additional hours.

Pay: £8.00-£11.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8.5 – 25.5 per week
