We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations within our busy establishment. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction
- Supervise and motivate team members, including servers, kitchen staff, and baristas, fostering a positive working environment
- Manage food preparation and cooking processes to uphold quality standards and food safety regulations
- Coordinate with kitchen staff on food production, ensuring timely delivery of dishes and adherence to recipes
- Monitor stock levels and order supplies as needed to maintain smooth operations
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all areas of the restaurant
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest experience
- Implement training programmes for staff development in areas such as food safety, service standards, and hospitality best practices
- Assist in organising promotional events or special menus to attract new clientele
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong team management skills with the ability to lead diverse groups effectively
- Extensive restaurant experience with a solid understanding of food preparation, cooking, and food safety protocols
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food production processes
- Experience in hospitality management, including serving standards and customer relations
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, including food safety regulations and quality control measures
- Leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Previous experience in hotel or barista roles is advantageous but not essential
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism
